Our house had been rented out for two years since we emigrated, and was looking a little tired. Having looked at and been impressed with many staged houses here in Auckland, where staging is much more common than in the UK, we engaged Staged Spaces to refresh and stage it, which included organising a decorator and gardener, and supplying furniture and artwork. Sarah was super prompt at replying to emails, and was very friendly and helpful. She also liaised with our outgoing tenant and the estate agent, both of whom told me how lovely she was. The quote was clearly set out and the price reasonable. We spent about £3.5k all told, but accepted an offer of about £30k over the estate agents' initial pre-staging estimates, so it was money very well spent. I consider that staging is definitely worth doing, and it made a huge difference to our house. I heard of Staged Spaces through a ladies networking site on Facebook. I sent a message to Sarah and she was prompt in getting in touch with me. I have recently moved house and was in a dilemma with a room that is a combination of a home office and toy storage space. Sarah visited me to discuss the project and to measure the room, she understood exactly what I wanted (even though I wasn't really sure what I wanted!) She then emailed me a series of mood boards and various ideas of how to utilise items I already had and wanted to keep, which helped me greatly in shrinking it down to what I actually wanted in the room and it's final style.
